What is legal assistance cover?
Legal assistance helps protect you from the costs that can arise from legal action following a road accident or other insured event. For example, if you're involved in an accident that wasn't your fault, we'll negotiate the recovery of your losses from the person who was responsible, including compensation if you're injured.
We'll also pay legal costs of up to £10,000 across a range of insured events, including motor prosecution defence, pothole damage, illegal clamping and towing, and motor consumer disputes involving the sale, purchase or hire of an insured vehicle.
